Details about how to initiate MDU B.Ed admission 2018

Initially Here we will discuss the details about how to take admission in B.Ed. course. The Teacher training institutes under MDU rohtak maintain norms and follow all mandatory rules & regulations for a teacher education program.

previously, B.Ed. course duration was one year. In 2015 NCTE made it a 2 year course. It is mandatory for all the universities. soon the NCTE is expected to further increase the duration of this course. for this reason the students should pursue B.Ed. in the current session.

B.Ed. two Year Program

Now, B.Ed. is a two year full time graduate degree level program. The exam and classes are expanded in two sessions. In other words University takes exam annually both theory and practical exams.

MDU is going to conduct centralized counseling for admission in B.Ed. in the state of Haryana for the session 2018-2020.

The eligibility criteria for B.Ed. two year regular course – Candidate should have at least 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST candidates of Haryana) in graduation. 85% reserved seats for the students who are bonafide residence of Haryana. Candidates who have passed their qualifying examination from a university in Haryana state will be deemed to be hayrana residents, such students  are exempt from submitting the certificate of bonafide residents of haryana. Left 15% reserved seats are for all categories in India. Formally it was 45% for reserved category, presently NCTE has increased it to 47.5%.

B.Ed. 2018 Admission process in MDU

Lastly,In the state of Haryana there is no entrance test. But The university takes central admission counseling. university allots  colleges thru the counseling session. Then the counselling body prepares a merit list on the basis of marks scored in graduation.
