B Ed Course

What is B.Ed.

A Bachelor of Eduction, B Ed Course is a degree which prepares student to work as a teacher. is a mandatory degree for those interested in pursuing carrer in the teaching. The minimum qualification required for admission in B.Ed. programme is at least a graduation degree in traditional streams (B.A,B.Com.B.Sc)

NCTE [National Council of edu.] has fixed the entry level of percentage  by  at 45% for sc & st & 50% for general students. Previously the Percentage was low. NCTE has increased it with the idea to bring quality in education.

Eligibility for B.Ed.

Graduate [including Shastri] with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate considering all subjects in 3 years except those subjects where only passing marks are required & which do not contribute to the total in the final mark sheet OR M.A/M.Sc/M.Com/ Acharya with minimum 50% marks.

Eligibility for NCTE approved Univ.

GENERAL CANDIDATES       –         50% & ABOVE

RESERVED CANDIDATES      –         45% & ABOVE

Eligibility for NON NCTE APPROVED Univ.

GENERAL                    –               45.5% & ABOVE

RESERVED                  –               39.5% & ABOVE

Moreover, with the idea to bring quality in education, the entry level of percentage has been fixed by NCTE [National Council of teacher eduation] at 45 percent for SC and ST candidates ; and 50 percent  for general category students.

Candidate should have minimum 50% marks in graduation. Otherwise, student should score 50% marks in masters.  By and large one should have 50% in Ether  of  the degree to be eligibility for the B Ed Course.

Presently, CRSU is Conducting annual mode of examination for its B Ed Course. The examination has both Theory  as well as practical papers.
